The Desert Walkers are the Alin's basic infantry unit. They are created at the Sand Circle and are upgraded at the Sand Spire.

The Desert Walker is the basic Alin foot soldier. Desert Walkers are the foundation of the Alin army and are feared for their ability to attack with ruthless aggression and disregard for personal safety. Elite units are known as Desert Striders, and have perfected the art of throwing their Suarang (a curved, scimitar-like blade) with deadly accuracy at great distances. A sufficiently large number of Desert Walkers can capture a city of any size quite rapidly.
